Benningborough hall NT

Benningborough hall is not a national trust property reknown for its wildlife, and sadly that showed today. We had spent around 2 and a half hours in the car to get here, due to leeds fest and york races traffic, and so to see nothing was really dissapointing. In the nature area, in the loosest sense of the words, there was a southern hawker hunting around, and there were quite a few butterflies in the garden, only they were regular garden species, except for one holly blue that diddnt want to stay still. The only birdlife was a song thrush, which did look rather lovely though.
