Madagascar; Day 18 - Antananarivo & Maronsetra

Unfortunately, yesterday's bad luck followed us today, as I woke up with a bad case of travel sickness. Fortunately, this will not impact the birding at all, as it was another day of travel. We headed to the airport in Antananarivo around midday and took our flight to Maronsetra in the northeast, where we would spend the night before traveling onward into the Masoala National Park.

Our stopover hotel within Maronsetra was very nice, with a pool and palm trees right on the beach. Of course, not that I could do anything with that due to my lack of clothing, but it was still nice to look at. From our base here we will travel to the National Park, where we will spend a week in the remote forest. The only thing of note was a Lowland Streaked Tenrec we found in front of hour room.
