Wycolle

A family day out to wycolle again. the level of wildlife was somewhat hindered by the remnants of snow, but there was wtill stuff about. Down by the ruins, there was a jay, long tailed tits as well as an assortment of regular garden birds. We went a different way today because we could not enter the top car park due to it being pack with snow, and the top road had sheer sides of snow higher than the car, and the road was only wide enough for one car for about half a kilometer. On the top we had the curious site of a heron hunting in a field, rather than a river bank, and in a hedge on the way back to the car I had great views of a song thrush.
