Lia felt unwell today, so we spent the day around the apartment while she rested and recovered. This gave me time to clear my memory cards in the camera, and to work on organizing the data I had collected during our trip so far, both for these blog posts and for the trip report I was hoping to write.
In the evening Lia felt a little better, so we returned to
Ilha da Torotama to watch the Nacunda Nighthawks again. They were a little
later out of roost today, but still put on a good show with probably around 10
individuals seen feeding against the setting sun. Tomorrow we will take the
ferry across to the Lagoa do Peixe national park, our final stop on this itinerary.
